You are invited to participate in the 13th Annual Reiche International 5K!
Given the current situation, this year’s race will be a bit different.
Why?
For all of the reasons we love the Reiche 5K every year: Support for our school, community spirit, a beautiful way to be active outdoors and PRIZES! This year we are not timing runners and can’t hold an awards ceremony, but we have come up with some fun ways for you to win small prizes. Please take a look at the registration form to see the categories!
When?
All participants will complete the route at the time of their choosing anytime between October 15, 2020 and October 31, 2020*
Where?
A map can be found on this site as well as a link to directions in GoogleMaps*
How?
Participants can register their completion using the form in the registration section of this website. Any photos of running the race posted to social media can be tagged with #Reiche5K
How much?
All registrations are free of charge, but a donation to the Reiche PTO will be appreciated. Proceeds will be used to support all Reiche Teachers and Staff in their pursuit to educate all students.
THANK YOU to the local community businesses that have been incredibly generous towards the Reiche School! These donations have enabled many important learning programs, capital improvements, and community events over the years. See the complete list in the SPONSOR section. If you would like to be added to this list, include the name of your business when you make a donation and we will happily add your business.
Donations of $100 or more are gratefully appreciated. We will include your family as part of the Reiche International 5K host committee. Unfortunately, the party at Bayside Bowl will not happen this year, but we hope to bring it back in 2021!
Dress Code:
One of the joys of the Reiche 5K is the creativity of our community displayed in the form of costumes. Please feel free to wear a costume or imagine yourself wearing a costume!
* Please make sure to keep at least 6 feet between you and anyone else along the route. If you cannot do so, please make sure to wear a mask that covers both your mouth and nose.
